It's been a while since I've watched any of the 1950's sci-fi "invasion" movies, but I imagine The Thing from Another World (1951) is one of the best of them. It may seem old-fashioned and talky, but it is also atmospheric and creepy.

From the depraved minds of directors Adam Rifkin (Detroit Rock City, The Dark Backward), Tim Sullivan (2001 Maniacs, Driftwood), Adam Green (Hatchet, Frozen), and Joe Lynch (Wrong Turn 2), Chillerama is a festival of gore, guts and good times.
Tales From the Library: Under the Dome
For some of us, to be enclosed in a space with other people, especially our neighbors, is our worst nightmare personified. The idea of sharing the same bubble with our co-workers, friends, or family is the stuff horror movies are made of…or science fiction books.
