Only one year after the Uruguayan film was released - mainly on VOD in the states - Open Road Films decided to release an American remake starring "newcomber" Elizabeth Olsen. The film boast 88 mintues of real fear captured in real time. The movie consist of 10-12 takes.
Synopsis:
Silent House is a uniquely unsettling horror thriller starring Elizabeth Olsen as Sarah, a young woman who finds herself sealed inside her family's secluded lake house. With no contact to the outside world, and no way out, panic turns to terror as events become increasingly ominous in and around the house. Silent House will be in theaters March 9, 2012.
